How the FUCK do you stop cheating galleries from getting on your tgp

I woke up this morning to get an email from a surfer that 23 of my galleries lead to popups and dialers

FUCK!!!

So im sitting here now deleting them. I use Brownie but I guess it missed these, or didn't get to them yet or something.

Isn't there something I can do about this? An additional software program I can buy as a backup to check this shit? I don't care if someone changed the gallery a little, I do care that they are adding popups and dialers and fucking over my surfers.

I'm iritated because some of these guys have been posting for months and I trusted them, then BAM all at once they fuck me. 23 un fucking real. :helpme

It's niche and it's hard to get galleries for a niche.

jimmyf 09-12-2002 06:33 AM

playa 09-12-2002 06:37 AM

DarkJedi 09-12-2002 06:52 AM

with brownie you can lock out the nameserver, most of these fucks have 20 different domains all under the same nameserver. It wont stop them but it slows them down for a while

We have got cheating way down by locking out nameservers, affiliate id's, mail servers and ip's of the bigger cheaters.

Make sure your checkup rule set is up to par also

Don't trust anyone!

For all you guys who don't take submissions, do you build all of your galleries yourself? Or use hosted galleries?

SykkBoy 09-12-2002 09:25 AM

Go to a preferred submission system. Make the gallery owners register for a password.

You must not have Brownie configured properly. When I blacklist someone, it not only deletes the galleries already in the database, it also deletes there bullshit from the review queue. On the next version of Brownie, I am sure it will also notify the International TGP Goon Squad, and the hover craft will find their location, the assulat team will repel down and assassinate the offending gallery builder. That will REALLY cut down on cheating!

SleazyDream 09-12-2002 10:28 AM

just take sleazydream galleries only - they never redirect.

Buck 09-12-2002 10:41 AM

Maybe just post sponsor hosted galleries, partner submitted galleries and some galleries from http://www.buckor2.com ?

High Quality 09-12-2002 11:13 AM

talk to that guy at easy pic. I once accidentally deleted a my directory for a gallery I had recently submitted. I re-uploaded it immediately but it was too late..his spider noticed it was just DOWN (no redirect or anything) and blacklisted my server. Hes got that shit way too down to a science but it might work for you.

boldy 09-12-2002 11:47 AM

See sig, it can monitor your galleries for changes 24/7 ... Hit me up i can setup an account for ya..

I guess I dont because one of the emails I blacklisted was [email protected] and there are galleries from this email in the review queue.

these fucks are ruining my site so they can make a few cents from a dialer that's not going to pay them anyways.

and now my traffic is low for the day, i hope these cheaters fucking burn in hell for this shit

Desirae 09-12-2002 02:55 PM

I have a question for you guys. Do you actually make any money with these tgp's? What kind of conversion do you get off this stuff? Im converting amazing on my site, I just need more traffic.

I make decent F-you money but I won't be quitting my day job anytime soon.

Rictor 09-12-2002 03:12 PM

Ban all domains and e-mails that don't end with .com or .net. (Example: .pl, .ru) This helps a lot.

Choker 09-12-2002 04:08 PM

Use my gallery database http://galleryspots.com 60 categories, 5000 galleries with 500 added every week, and you get traffic back to your tgp for using it. My own galleries and paid gallery spots.

When you blacklist, go all out. I ban the e-mail addy, the domain name, the IP address, and the mail server - if I don't have too many windows open I'll even do a WHOIS and blacklist the nameserver :thumbsup
