Phoenix, retard boy, i have a question for you

n the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombings (August 7, 1998), hundreds of people were killed in simultaneous car bomb explosions at the United States embassies in the East African capital cities of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Nairobi, Kenya. The attacks, linked to local members of the al Qaeda terrorist network headed by Osama bin Laden, brought bin Laden and al Qaeda to international attention for the first time, and resulted in the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation placing bin Laden on its Ten Most Wanted list.

Along with the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, and the 2000 attack on the USS Cole in Yemen, the Embassy Bombing is one of the major anti-American terrorist attacks that preceded the September 11, 2001 attacks.

---

How come you never cry about these attacks? Arent they conspiracies? Or is the problem there isnt a 16 year old kid yet with an internet connection who has made a delusional movie about it which you can get your quotes and "facts" from?

who 09-11-2007 11:47 AM

But why does that mean he's responsible for EVERY bomb or 'attack'?

[ScreaM] 09-11-2007 12:05 PM

This is going to be interesting.

polish_aristocrat 09-11-2007 12:06 PM

Franck is your bathroom finished already?

pocketkangaroo 09-11-2007 12:11 PM

Bush did all those too.

Deej 09-11-2007 12:17 PM

franck, although hes not going to answer... i believe his stance is that conspiracy or not... he feels that the 9/11 conspiracy was US government headed or allied

were those bombings accused of being internal, or just terrorist...

i hold no stance because i know nothing of it personally...

thats just what i would assume the answer would be...

Brother Bilo 09-11-2007 12:24 PM

For every big event that happens, conspiracy theorists come out of the woodwork claiming wild shit that one shity piece of video footage may or may not support.

Does anyone ever think that shit just happens the way it happens, or is the "man" always behind it?

Dirty F 09-12-2007 04:19 AM

And up to the top.

Dirty F 09-12-2007 09:55 AM

With the internet and mass media, the government is behind everything nowadays. I can certainly understand people being sceptical of government today, but that doesn't mean they lie about EVERYTHING. The hard part is actually figuring out what they're lying about. As I've said before, believing everything your government tells you is stupid, but believing nothing they tell you makes you look like an idiot.

But being realistic here, do you think it would make for a better society if the government fully disclosed everything they did? I'll equate it to the United States. Do you think that this country would be in better or worse shape if the governement informed everyone about what they know, what they've been working on, who they've been working with and what's going on in the rest of the world?

My opinion on it would be no. I think the general populace is completely unprepared for what kinds of shit is actually happening and our, or any country, would go into a fucking meltdown. While it's obvious that everyone on this board is the representation of the smartest people from around the world, I think the reason the democratic government works is because we elect them to make those decisions for us, so we don't have to struggle with mass hysteria on a daily basis. Not saying the people we elect don't end up corrupt sometimes, but find me a government in the world that isn't the same way.

Powerful people usually become corrupt, just human nature I guess.

BradM 09-12-2007 10:23 AM

I agree with you entirely. A buddy and I were talking the other day about whether or not the government would say anything if an asteroid was heading directly for us. I believe the reaction would be very similar to what happened in the movie Deep Impact. They'd hide it as long as they could, while trying to find a solution. Then when the media got hold of it, they'd tell their side of the story.

It's usually inevitable that the media will find things out through a leak or whatever nowadays. So I don't know how well many secrets could be kept anyways.

If for example Flight 93 was shot down on 9/11 (which is something I believe IS a possibility) eventually it will come out. I think it's even kind of ironic that if they HAD told people that was the case, they would have had much more sympathy than they'd have if it were leaked today. That's the price of not telling the whole truth though. While I could understand WHY they'd withhold that information, that IS something I believe the people should be entitled to know.

But you're right that there are many other things that are probably best kept secret. Unfortunately that's not the way a lot of people NOR the media sees things. Nothing pissed me off more than when Geraldo was in Iraq or wherever he was and started drawing a map of the troops' position. There was NO need whatsoever for that.

Here is what gets me.

Everyone always bitches and complains on how stupid Bush is, how is the worst US President ever, how he has the IQ of a small child, but yet these conspiracy people believe he was behind this entire event.

So let me get this straight you believe that Bush was intelligent to organize multiple hundreds of people, some to hijack planes, some to bomb the pentagon, others to shoot down a plane, others to go into both building prior to 9-11 and line them with enough explosives to bring them down, and from the conspiracy videos I have watched there had to be a serious amount of explosives planted into each building, which would have involved explosives experts and a mass amount explosives technicians to wire it all up, and also the security at the WTC's to turn a blind eye. A lot of claims is that there was no other planes, that would mean multi people at the airports were involved to say these planes were on the radar. The list goes on an on.

So I am supposed to believe that Bush, one of the more incompetent and idiotic US Presidents ever was not only able to orchestrate this, but was also able to pull it off flawlessly and was also able to keep every single person involved 100% quiet without one leak what so ever.

If this is true you need admit that Bush is by far one of the most intelligent presidents in history, but of mass intelligence to be able to pull off such a cold calculated attack without a hitch.

If this is true then I have to give Bush credit and admit how intelligent he really is. I am unsure I am able to give him that credit.

Well in the case of 9/11, he said he was, didn't he? I thought he took responsibility in an audio message.

Of course, that was made up by the Illumanti and blah blah blah,.

There are no secrets in politics. Clinton couldn't even get a blowjob without getting caught. If the dems had one single shred of evidence, they would nail Bush's ass to the wall and they wouldn't let up until he was impeached.

Good point, except for one point. Bush doesn't do anything. He is the frontman for his administration which is a front for his party/contributors.

Cheny = Haliburton. Cheny owns Bush. Therefore we can deduce Haliburton owns Bush.

See Haliburton stock since Sept 11 2001. End of argument.

Oh so in your theory it's not Bush, but Haliburton that pulled this off to get their stock to rise.

That's quite the thing to pull off. So the people at Haliburton were able to pull this entire thing off to perfection without anyone knowing? So all these people with the theories on Bush are all wrong. Amazing.

Every story changes depending on what "proof" is available. It's a fucking joke.

BradM 09-12-2007 01:18 PM

For the record, officially, I don't know nor honestly CARE anymore what happened. As a Canadian who heard the news when I was 17 and went "the twin what where were attacked by who?" I really wasn't affected by the news.

My above post was just to stir the pot, I am not nor have ever been a conspiracy fan. I leave that for the psychopaths and 12 year olds.

No.

Your position is a lot more common than you seem to believe, and it allows the ruling elite to control you as easily as they do a retarded person. You actully think you are better off being left in the dark about virtually everything? Because you couldnt handle it if you found out they were stealing from you, poisoning you, imprisoning you?

The secret here is you could handle it. The real truth is you could do something. The cynicism you have embedded into your holistic view of society is planted by the media. The desired outcome of the manipulation is you believe that you are virtually alone in understanding how fucked everything is but because you are smarter than the 'vast majority' or whatever, that it is useless to care because what can one man do?

You can get educated rather than cynical. You can write letters instead of shitty forum posts. You can give money to people who make a difference - they do exist, you just arent going to see them on FOX news or digg or whatever the fuck you've used to poison your mind. You can quit backing up the fascists by saying its for your own good to be fed shit and kept in the dark. Be a man, not a mushroom.

That's a pretty in depth analysis of someone you've never met or formally talked to. I haven't had thoughts planted in my head by the media or anything along the lines that you are suggesting. Instead, I'm going off of personal experience and knowledge of human interaction. I'll give you an example.

About 5 or 6 years ago, the city of Phoenix ran out of gasoline. Pipe from Tucson broke and we lost all incoming gas. Take a guess at what happened. 95% of the entire city went on a rampage. Stocking up on ammunition, what gas they could find, food and water. A complete breakdown of society. The day after the news first broke that the gas was going to run out, there were fist fights, shootings, stabbings by people who cut in line or got cut in front of to get gas. And, sure enough, just like the people with any kind of intelligence had figured, the gas trucks started rolling in and filling up the stations. But just the thought that of city running out of gas turned a lot of peoples worlds completely upsided down.

So, you're saying that these same people could handle hearing about the top secret decisions made by our government? Come on, this has nothing to do with media bias and thoughts instilled in my head. Just common sense.

leftsans 09-12-2007 03:09 PM

I do not know you personally, but I also dont think my analysis was very in-depth...its pretty simple really, you think the govt. or whoever lies to you because its in YOUR best interests. Based on my own personal experiences and observations, people lie to you when its in THEIR best interests.

Your story supports your argument, and i would only say two things.
1 - the widespread panic over a phony gas shortage was probably amplified by the local news media to sell advertising and then after the fact probably exaggerated by the media to continue selling the same.

2 - we are very lucky to live in the abundance we do, if somebody in Iraq thought as you and your reasonable minded friends did however, they would be sitting at home in the dark...its laughable to say that won't ever happen in the US, history thoroughly disproves that...and when it does happen I'll bet my payline that the government says "Dont' worry the trucks will be there tomorrow"

but yeah my post was more venemous than it ought to have been and I thank you for a gentlemanly response.

Not exactly, but it's not far off. The gas shortage wasn't phony, we really ran out of gas. But we ran out much faster because of the way people flipped out. And yes, the media did hype it up a lot, and personally, I think most media companies and employees are sensationalist assholes that thrive off scaring simple minded people into buying shit that they don't need or doing something they don't need to do. I don't invest a lot of assurance in the media, for the most part, I just don't believe them.

And no problem about the gentlemanly response, I'm just trying to fuck with the conspiracy crowd, but they don't really have anything worth while to go off of.
