how to do traceroute?
please help.
|
tracert.com
|
|
If you're in windows.. go to (Start) (Run)
type (cmd) it opens a black box then type "tracert (hostname or ip)" |
|
Get a command prompt up.
Start - Run CMD at the command prompt tracert mydomain.com The output will be every router hop the packets make between your IP address and the destination. Hope this helps! Dustman |
click START ---> RUN , type: tracert whatever.com
|
thank you!

Get a pencil and some really thin paper, tape it to your screen and trace all you want! Or you could try Neotrace Pro
I used it to trace a hacker almost to his front fucking DOOR. Good software for nailing clueless script kiddies :winkwink: |
tracert.com is good if you are looking for stuff from points other than your own. tracert in dos is the way to do it from your box.
There is also a program called Visual Route Pro that will combine the two :) |
