wtf awstats shows a 301 on my site?
 

I have no 301 set up on my site, I had purchased the domain not that long ago, and today I was looking at my awstats stats and there is a 301 listed as a hit redirect!

How could a 301 be redirecting something from my site when I set the domain up on my hosting account myself only a couple of weeks ago??

^^that is exactly what it says, it was an expired domain that I had purchased not too long ago, I'd rather not say as it is a mainstream project

what is the difference between a 301 and a 302 anyways? I know that one is supposed to be permanent and one is supposed to be temporary, but who does the permanent one matter to? what if you change your mind on the 301 permanent and take off the redirect, which makes it then have been temporary?
