My wife and I are interested in starting a solo-site. She's been in several Playboy special editions including Lingerie, Vixens and the first ever edition of Hot Housewives. She's done lots of modeling and is comfortable doing nudes as long as they aren't 'Swank type photos' as she's not a fan. We were trying to think of a way to set up a website for the people who had expressed interest in autographed copies of her magazines as well as large prints of some of her other photos. Along the lines we started discussing doing a solo-site as the possibility for commissions is higher.

I'm looking for tips, pointers, connections and anything else that you might think would be useful to someone just starting out. She's worked with several photographers and one of the local photographers would be a great candidate for this type of project. I'll post up some pics so you can what we're talking about. If you have anything negative to say about her please keep those comments to yourself. Looking for useful information to get us headed to the right direction. I'm new here but look forward to my stay and all the knowledge I'll be able to soak up. Thanks in advance for your help!

Honestly, what does she have to offer? If she's strictly softcore, then what's her niche? Softcore MILF? I don't think that'll sell too well.

Other general advice:

Try to be original, and emphasize the personality of the model. I say, for the most part, stay away from studio shots (like most of those you posted), as they come across as fake and sterile. Themed shoots, outdoor locations, and site features such as a diary/blog and weekly video chat, all play to the fantasy of prospective members.

Look at other sites similar to what you want to have, and make note of what you like and dislike about them. Don't blindly imitate them, but rather borrow bits and pieces and build them around your own vision and creation.
