Vonage or Packet8
 

Gotta switch a landline... Opinions please.:helpme

from my experience, VONAGE blows!!!!

I have run Packet 8 for years now and haven't had a problem.

I agree. I originally signed up for Packet 8 because I could get a local number. Vonage, still no local number for me. WTF? Nt sure about Vonage features, but if my internet connection goes out I can get all my Packet 8 calls redirected to my cell phone.

I have vonage, and have not had issues with it. But I have heard a lot of people say that CS is the shits.

Thanks for the opinions everyone. I have Vonage on one line and was wavering between the two companies. Just put in a Packet8 order to give them a go with a separate biz line.

I agree with local numbers. I use my phone over here in the UK..t I bought it and had it sent here and the number is local to my parents which means they can call me in the UK for free. That is such a great feeling.
