Yes, I played too - a central midfield - the creative playmaker, there was a time when we played football (or soccer) ALL the time - no matter if it was summer, winter, raining, snow, ice - we played almost every day and under any circumnstances.

Love the game, but hate the diving and the douche players. Right now our national team sucks because it's full of metrogays caring more about their tabloid girlfriends, hairdos and club contracts, old skool is gone.

Me too. It wasn't uncommon in the summers to be playing 16 hours a day with breaks for food, drinks and occasional stretching or wound tending.

He's sooooo not gay. I got a chance to see him in Portugal in the last Euro Cup. This guy can get any lady he wants in Europe! Great athlete and an exceptional soccer player!

I know, I was being sarcastic. I hate all sports that don't have an engine in it.
It's no fun if you can't be racing over 100 MPH. Any sport watching a bunch of guys running around for a ball just seems boring.
