I have a theory.
Not being a professional athelete I can only assume what I've heard is the truth, which is, boxers refrain from having sex because it lowers their concentration. Or they lose their competitive edge. Whatever the reasoning.
Britney was, for lack of a better term, a successful performer, UNTIL she discovered sex. Or at least GOOD sex. Once she found that, her career has pretty much gone to shit. Certainly it doesn't happen with everyone, but I'm betting it does with quite a few athletes or performers.
Take a look at Anna Kournikova for example. Based solely on media reports, I assume that girl was fucking from a VERY young age...

Back to Anna K. She simply couldn't compete with the big dogs. I'm guessing sex was a distraction. Martina Hingis on the other hand, probably didn't have sex because she was so consumed with her career that she couldn't handle the distraction. Jennifer Capriati is another prime example. I think a lot, not all but a LOT of female athletes lose their competitive edge around the 17-20 age because that's when they discover there's more to life than sports...specifically sex.
It might sound ridiculous, but I'm sticking to it.

Her choreographer should be shot, clearly there were no mirrors in the rehearsal studio, her movements were tiny and not indicative of a major star.
She looks to me like she lost her confidence more than anything, which probably largely to do with the extra poundage (although she is not fat by any stretch of the imagination) so her outfit for sure did not make her feel more confident... she looked like a fish out of water as if she had never performed in front of a live audience and millions of viewers.
It was actually kind of sad. She seemed timid and frightened not like the confident young entertainer she debuted as for sure.
