Custom Encoding and Better than DVD quality videos.

We have got a new video encoder and can now offer custom encoding. So if what we have on the site does not suit your video needs, hit me up and I will see what we can do. We can encode in sizes, bit rates and formats to suit your sites.

Plus watermark if needed.

Also have versions of the movies in "better than DVD quality" again hit me up if you need the top quality versions to encode yourself.

As the Net speeds up video sites have to move up.

Great work Paul. So many encoding choices these days, it's good to give people access to raw DV files :)

yea, lots of choices in trans/en coding these days. im really suprised how many people just use what the content companies provide, whats worse is how out of the loop most providers are, giving you 320x240 masters and shit.

thanks.

We tried the "Better than DVD" route a few years ago and only a couple of clients picked it up. It's basically a very high quality rip off the edited tape and around 4 GB a scene.

With your average DVD being 4 GB and containing 4-6 scenes these AVIs are far better quality and can be encoded to what ever you require. You can change it in the future, will be a long time before scenes of more than 4 GB will be needed.

We edit on Adobe Premiere. Is that what you mean?

Here is the highest we go to as standard on WMV. Will show you the Mpeg when I find a sample clip.

Full quality.

Full quality.

10 seconds = 2.2 mgb
720 x 540
Bit rate 1.74 Mbps.

Yes some of the older ones don't go that good.

There is another question we need to think about.

http://xbiz.com/news/83888

We have to think about what the systems will handle, our systems and the users. We need to have the option of moving with what can be done.

That looks great Paul.

The second scene is 19.20 minutes long. In WMV it's 250 meg and in Mpeg it's 730 meg. That would put it up with the quality of DVD.

The AVI will be closer to 5.5 gigs.

Big fucker.

Paul Markham 09-11-2007 02:35 AM

This is the AVI, bit of a color cast I know.

10 second AVI.

It's the full quality and a big fucker. LOL
