When I read the title, I initially thought that there were tearing down an old synagogue, and auctioning the seats.

i synagog i used to go to, the seats for the high holidays ALONE was around 8k PER seat

and for the year, its around 18k

First of all, it's a high end temple in Miami Beach that has mainly rich people among it's congregation. Second, I don't think christians, catholics, etc. have ANY room to talk when it comes to putting a price on prayer. Finally, why not make sure you have a clue what you are talking about before you add your worthless opinion...

I'd rather watch it on TV for free..
