attention ufc fans, the dan henderson bandwagon starts here
after hendo puts a beating on quinton jackson i want to give you so called mma fans a place to tell us how you remember dan henderson and you were always kind of a fan.
|
I never watch UFC, but that elvis guy took a pounding last night.
|
yeah but last night it was ufc 70 they were showing. it was an old one, tonight is ufc 75. they'll show it on spike for free tonight, but its happening live in london right now or in an hour.
|
not a bandwagon jumper here...
been following my man Dan Henderson forever, and always thought he was the real thing... loved him in Pride! check out his stats here: http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/f...?FighterID=195 i'm predicting a submission win :thumbsup |

If you knew anything about Rampage, you would know he ONLY LOST ONCE BY SUBMISSION. This is going to be won by one knocking the other one the fuck out. My money is on Rampage! |

at first thought you'd think this would be a good fight but honestly hendo is going to make rampage seem like an amateur tonight. ufc lost a marketing opportunity by rushing this fight, rampage should have got to have a defense or two before losing his belt. |

Like Digipimp says, its my opinion :2 cents: I THINK Henderson can easily handle the standup. I THINK Jackson will come out with a flurry and tire himself out. I THINK Jackson will get knocked around by Henderson and will go for a leg. I THINK Henderson will sprawl then submit Jackson on the ground. Will it happen? Maybe not but from having watched Pride and UFC and the occasional K1, KOTC, etc for several years now, that is my GUESS. :1orglaugh But then again, who called the last Cro-Cop loss? Not me or anybody :warning |
i think whomever wears the sexiest outfit will win...

Btw, Randy Coture gave Napao aka Gonzango the win for his fight with Cro Cop. Randy also gives the edge to Rampage. |
I'm not hard up for cash, and I doubt you are too. I already got some bets going, and don't need anymore...
BUT, I guess I got to backup my man Henderson. I'll take Henderson over Jackson for $25 via PayPal. I pledged a local charitable organization $25. It'll go towards a good cause :thumbsup Deal? |
personally i couldnt care less what coture thinks, im not a fan. go hendo, damn you anthony with the betting. i was thinking i should post tonight that the fights were about to start on spike and then bet someone, since i'd already know who won.

Sometimes the smallest bet means a lot more than the bigger ones :upsidedow |

I've just got home from watching UFC 75 live, here's my brief take on what I saw (not that anyone will care),
Houston Alexander looked good, can't wait to see him fight again. Cro Cop looked tirered and was pretty much dominated by Kongo. Bisping was very lucky to get the decision over Hamill, not sure how much they paid the judges for that. This was the fight the crowd wanted to see most, but was probably the most dissapointing, not much action. Henderson won the first 2 rounds and Rampage just about won the last 3, but it was pretty close. Have to watch it on tv again as I was pretty far from the action. Looked like there was a good fight going on in the crowd at one point, not sure who won that, although they guy who got kicked out got a pretty big cheer!! |
I don't follow these guys by names really, I know a few guys. I just enjoy the battles..
|
Overall, the fights weren't too bad.
And I was almost right... in the 3rd round, Henderson had several good sub attempts, but almost is not good enough :upsidedow You got mail, and some PayPal funds :thumbsup |
Who's the so-called MMA fan now? ;)
Hollywood clearly lost the fight but the guy still has game - he never backed down an inch and should do well against UFC guys not named Rampage. Cro Cop got what he asked for, a striker with no ground game, and he still got burned. He looked awful. Where does he go from here? Arlovski? The travesty of the night was Bisping's decision win. Ridiculous. I'm not sure how one judge has him losing all 3 rounds but the other two having with winning 2 out 3. He lost that fight clearly. And yes, I'd like to see who Alexander gets next. He's a machine right now. |
Anthony, you got money. We're all squared now, good win bro!
