Looking for plasma for bedroom, not looking to spend much money as will not be watching it that much..

those aren't bad for prices. Then of course the wallmount etc? I'd like to get one for our bedroom but the wife wants a new car first.

Why what's wrong with LG? They are middle of the road right, not budget like Vizio etc....

any LG product ive ever bought has given me problems.. never an issue with samssung or panasonic

For that price you couldn't even get a 21' here in Brazil.

A 42' Plasma over here is at least $3k.

I have a 37" Panasonic and I almost like it better than my 60 inch Sony. But now I may cry, those are all just over half the price what I paid a year ago.

We bought the Vizio 42" LCD HDTV (I wanted the 1920x1080 res.) at Costco.. yes price mattered.... but have to say, the picture is great.. no issues at all. I look at 23" Apple Cine screens all day and know about highlights and shadows and color and all that shit... nothing wrong with a nicely priced screen.

If your high priced plasma gives you a 5 or 10% nicer picture than I have (not likely.. we tested most of them), but you paid at least 50% or more for it.. is that really worth it??? Not for me.

I agree, however the price differance between a Vizio and say LG is only $200 so I did not want to take the risk..
