suggestion to GTS and Cybercat
If I want to buy a few gallery spots on one of the big tgp's, then I need to contact you by e-mail asking for available dates, then wait 10 hours for a reply, then assuming the dates are fine for me, reply again with the galleries that I want to promote, then wait for your approval, etc..
why can't this whole thing be more automated? webmasters should be able to chose everything online, view the available dates etc and pay instantly with credit card, or epassporte then the payment can be pending while your employee reviews the galleries if they match the rules... and after the review is done, the payment gets processed there should be no webmaster/emploeey time wasted for communication personally I have a lot of time, but some decisions are done spontaneously and all this exchanging emails doesnt serve any real purpose edit: my experience is based on dealing with Cybercat, but I know that GTS also doesnt have a shopping card system for galleries, so if i want to buy worldsex spots now, I need to ask them for available dates etc, while this all could be automated... :2 cents: |
they're advertising agents....they know fuck all about the the intrawebs

if thats how it should be and you have a lot of time don't post your rants on GFY and build a system that works like "it should".
Ill be the first in line to buy spots. |
Hey hey Polish. If you have bought from us in the past you should have a user/pass to see availability. if not hit me up and i will get it for you. 473 085 121

but I don't see myself doing it for several reasons, neither would I see myself being able to convince the big tgp's to switch their gallery spot sales to my new company all I want is to be able to go to cybercat.com or gallerytrafficservice.com , chose a TGP, and view the available dates, upload galleries and pay instantly hell, just showing the available dates would be enough right now i need to e-mail Cybercat and ask if the top spot on "TGP A" is taken on September 25 th or not and it will quite likely take up to a whole day to get a reply thats not really a friendly system for webmasters |
I totally agree with you

That would require some sort of backend.
