Do You Have Too Much Debt?

For the first time in 7 years I am debt free. No more credit card debt for me and it sure feels good :)

Woot woot

G-Rotica 09-06-2007 07:22 AM

Almost have our furniture all paid off from when we bought everything brand new when we moved into our new house. 0% financing so I have no problem paying the montly bill :)

other then that, it is pretty much just the house payment.

royaljelly2 09-06-2007 08:01 AM

bDok 09-06-2007 11:03 AM

debt with my car and student loan. Both of which I could get out of if I wanted to, but both loans have amazing rates so would rather have my money earn a little more. :)

and congrats at being debt free. I remember a couple years back having quite a bit of credit card debt that just sucked.

media 09-06-2007 11:43 AM

My ex wife helped put me in some heavy debt, but I'm taking care of it.. should be debt free in less than two years...

frostyimpressions 09-06-2007 12:19 PM

I still have another 6k to go for my car loan. Once 2009 hits I will be completely debt free.

Jimmy Rock 09-06-2007 12:21 PM

Not even close to being debt free

I have about $500 of debt on my credit cards. That's all.

After Shock Media 09-06-2007 12:35 PM

I was debt free until about march of this year, then whoops back to the hospital. So now I have to pay that all off yet again. Though house is paid off as well as I carry no credit card debt (I do bill all my bills through my personal credit card for the points and pay it off monthly, plus if I go to hospital they are safe and interest free).
So I figure if my current income level remains the same (typically it increases some each month on average), I should be again debt free within two more years assuming I do not have another long term hospital stay.

VicD 09-06-2007 03:11 PM

a little debt here, no problem

minniesoporno 09-06-2007 03:53 PM

I got 20,000 in debt that is just consumer debt I accumulated in 3 years, but with the new site expecting to launch soon, and working cam sites, a day job, and working from home for the shopping channel I am not really worried about it since I am trying to pay off the bulk of it, before I add-on another student loan, mortgage and car loan.

I am hoping with the new income soon to arrive that I can just have a mortgage and student loan I am hoping to buy my first car cash.

Peaches 09-07-2007 09:23 AM

Mortgage and a car lease. I'll do an interest only loan in a heartbeat but besides that, no credit debt except the house and car.

I use my credit cards for just about everything due to rewards - just pay them off.

crockett 09-07-2007 09:29 AM

Other than a car payment I have no real debt. I do keep a few credit cards just to keep get some action on my credit reports.

geeknik 09-07-2007 09:47 AM

A car payment. But I hardly think that qualifies as too much debt. :)

strobi 09-07-2007 09:55 AM

I am in debts over my ears (mortgages) but no debts on cars and stuff...

tehHinjew 09-07-2007 09:58 AM

2000 in debt
