Howard Stern/ Jenny Jones
 

I have a friend who does this public access show and he has been catching alot of slack from the local politicians and shit like that because his show is kinda off the hook. (like Howard Stern). He talks about hoes and pimps and all kinda crazy shit.

Now he is scheduled to appear on the Howard Stern and Jenny Jones show shohahahay and I was thinking this may be a good time to partnership with him on a website.

My question to you guys is what kind of traffic do you think this would generate? (Basically a wild ass White Pimp type of cat with a porn site)

I would create the site like a white version of my site www.Asswatcher.com.

Do you think the traffic from these shows would be enormous? If so would you recommend a $2.95 Trial Membership to get as many joins as possible or have a higher $19.95 1 Month Membership. Also, is there something special I would have to do to my server so that everyone could access it in the hour or so the show runs as opposed to the server just being bogged down and unviewable by 90% of the visitors.

Any immediate help is needed as I would have about 1 month to set everything up.

i remember when i think howard stern did something about voyeur dorm, and their site was basically down due to all the traffic. i think that pretty much made them.

Yep, all it takes is just one TV show to make you a rich motherfucker! upskirt.com was doing fuck all until Montel Williams did a show about it. I'd say jump on the bandwagon as fast as you can!

I remember listening to Howard Stern when the guys from Bumfights.com came on after their HUGE success. They sold 100,000 copies the first day that they were on the howard stern show... Not bad!

I remember when Stern brought consumptionjunction.com to a screeching halt back when he mentioned it for the first time. Make sure you are ready to handle the traffic!

You *wont* handle the traffic if enough people are interested or even curious. What kind of switch(es) do you have? Do you have load balancing through a bunch of webservers, and a seperate database server?

I dont have any of that, but I will pose the questions to my host, the video tapes are a good idea also.

I can make a hot site, the cat is like a White (wannabee) Pimp, thats humor in itself.
