You know what the best thing about writing a 26 page final essay is?
 

Watching the last page come off the printer (without any smeared ink). Even if it is 2am and you still have to deliver it in the morning.

You kids today are so spoiled. I still have nightmares of typing out, by hand, 26 page essays only to review it and see that on page 4 I typed the same paragraph twice.

It happened more than once.

and then you had to bundle it up and walk 28 miles in the snow (I am sure California had snow back then) to find a paper clip to put it all together (staples hadn't been invented yet).

I look forward to that. My mom is already asking 'So, is the PhD after the masters' (she has one). I remember watching her write her dissertation for the phd and I can honestly say I don't think that is happening any time this decade.

I will just finish writing the books I am working on, get those published and get super famous and just be given an honorary PhD from somewhere instead. It seems like less work that way..lol.

I am the eldest of 12. You think she had time for typing?

Of course, just having handed it in I can say that feels pretty good too. Aww, about two days with free time in the evenings before I find some way of filling up that free time with work.
