PSW Billing?

Anybody used them? Good or bad experiences?

Thoughts and/or comments from the usual peanut gallery?

We have an account with them that we use for some house traffic and to send declines to. Checks come weekly like clockwork for over a year now. I have been able to get Gabe on ICQ or the phone each time I needed to.

Yeah I just set them up to start processing some of our declines. The stats output is XML, so I can import it into Truecash much smoother than Epoch or any other biller I know of.

I'm trying to decide between glo bill and jettis at the moment.

Jettis have offered me a much better rate (3% less) - but glo bill seems to have a lot of fans everywhere. Good service is important, as well as a good rate. Does anyone here have an opinion on Jettis?

Or maybe I should use PSW Billing?

jettis is too quick on the credit button. also, not sure what type of content you have, but they might not allow stuff thats too extreme (hardcore s/m, pissing, etc). no dialers/900 billing either. i hear they have great service tho.

globill is who i use primarily. they usually respond in under an hour, and they tend to be the strictest in terms of refunds of the bunch. they also seem to have excellent scrubbing policies, low chargebacks w/ better conversion rate than my other backup processors.

no opinions on pswbilling, never used them, sorry

imho, the extra % with globill is well worth it. you will make up for it with their dialers and 900 billing program. plus, you probably will find that you can accept more signups with globill because they don't take a shotgun approach to fraud.

sounds like spam, but all webmasters who promote globill sound like they are spamming (unseen world, darren, etc etc). thats how fucking good they are.

either way, dont put all your eggs in one basket. get a backup processor too, no reason not to go with both of them, then assign the one you like better as your primary. :2 cents:

you might want to check out website billing as well. They are easy to get a hold of and do work with you.

We're adding pretty much every processor to our roster on ..QuickBuck ..cept globill ... over the next weeks we're doing some kewl stuff with processor monitoring & cascading so that if it's possible to get an approval we'll get it.

I find website billing's site to be nice.. we've filled out the contract, gotten it to them and the past two times we've tried getting them to set us up, this is the point at which they've dropped the ball.

They say they have a web900 solution but i have as of yet to ever see it in action.

Any thoughts on websitebilling (employees of wsb can please refrain from commenting)?

How bout verotel?

How bout 2000Charge?

omaz 09-11-2002 12:21 PM

hooper, it did take a few extra days getting website billing setup because of the way our system works. We had to use our own programmers quite a bit, but other than that no problems.

:)

wsb seems to be on the ball today. they're getting us set up as we speak.

still looking for other views on the processors i mentioned.

wonton 09-11-2002 02:25 PM

verotel is ok. they accept transacitons from anywhere (which could be bad?) including korea. they pay on time and they've been around for awhile.

the bad thing is that they are based in the netherlands and you don't get 24 hour support. if you are based in the US, you wil probably be up at 4 in the morning trying to get "realtime" support. also, for some reason thye need your credit card info when you sign up (?). theres no phone support either btw. not sure if they still do this, but they have some crazy 16 digit code to access your stats. secure, but what a pain in the fucking ass.

i've never used 2000charge, but i hear they are small and can accept signups easily. what's their going rate? i heard they were expensive, didn't bother confirming this.

i think you should take a look also at www.websitebilling.com
I havent used them on a paysite, but i joined few days ago for the triplexcash paysites as an affiliate and i'm really very impressed.

Be careful - they sell their email lists - I get mail once a week from them. :-/
