Someone trying to Crack my members password
 

Hello fuckers, I have yet another question(sorry)
Apparently, someone has been trying to crack into my members area. My question is: is there any way to find out who this is?

i mean, you can check your logs, and try to trap their IP if they're using proxies (sometimes it shows up in the headers, mostly not). but then what? you'll probably find it is in korea or taiwan or something and you're SOL.

Even if you do get the ip hiding behind the proxy, what are you going to do with it? Call the FBI & tell them someone is trying to crack into your site?

Nope the most you will do is get his ISP to cancel him. Cracking is just a fact of life in this biz get used to it, learn to protect yourself from it, but realize tracking them down is just not worth it.
