need input on a new design
 

Hey everyone,

Im getting someone to do some design work and it is at the early stages and i wanted to get some input from fellow webmasters.

Sorry to say, but it doesn't do much for me. By no means could i do any better, but it just looks like you've put a few pictures up, and applied a filter here and there.

If the rest is done well, I don't see why it can't work, I'm a bit sick of that look though. Check our site design and lemme know what you think

I have to agree with Bruno. Your logo, HC, is a font that isn't very identifiable.

I also think the "Hosted Content" is not as prominent as it could be.

Overall, it's a good beginning; but, for me, the blue is a little dark, combined with the charcoal of your graphical text.

I also think the darkness of the blue, at least on my monitors, takes away from the girls' faces.

I'd love to see it when your designer is done. :-)

go from "hc" to "HC" that is about all I can think of.

ok.. here are some things i'd change.... the white outline area where the content will go should be taken out... doesn't really fit too well... and at the bottom where it says HC on the menu, the point at which it begins to curve does not line up with the rest of the menu... perhaps getting rid of some of the visual "distortions" hes placed up at top, there seems to be a bit too much going on up there, the page needs to flow evenly. but thats just me being very critical :)

nice design , i think company text is readable enough.

Woo... I would stick with the first design idea. Seriously... I liked the other one way better. This one doesn't look like much effort was put into it & the font for your comany name is... Annoying (?) Good colour scheme and overall idea, but I just can't seem to get myself to like that font... Good luck to you broddah!:winkwink:

i think the second is nicer but more work needs to go into the logos.
