At age 67, with many years of jogging and half-marathons and 10 K races which caused two knee surgeries, I now only do a brisk walk; almost everyday, I do 4-5 miles.

I used to do a lot of speed walking with with 3lbs leg weights on for years. I did 10 kilometers a day 7days a week, never had any joint pain:) I never ever could get into jogging:2 cents:

If you're doing a treadmill a fast walk with an incline is way better on your joints and as effective as running. :2 cents:
But running does feel better though. :winkwink: |
