I've always disliked american cars untill now. Might get one ---PICS---
 

Besides the muscle cars of the 60 and 70's I was never a huge fan of American cars. I've had a couple Mustangs when I was younger but thats about it.

Any-who, I think GM has finally hit the nail on the head with the 2008 CTS. This car will most probably out sell anything in its class...if they keep the price reasonable that is.

From there expect one maintance problem after another. I swear they build these things so they fall apart on purpose.

Don't like it in the interior. Wood steerwheel, wood all over it, automatic gearbox... :X

I keep my cars 3 years tops and even after 3 years I hardly have 50,000 KMS on em. The problem I have with American cars is the "drive", you know...the loose steering feel and the rattles. But im pretty sure the caddy is not like that...at least for the first year or two hehe.

Cause the redesigned 2008 CTS-V wont be out for another year or so, no pics available :)

I liked the style of the DTS Cadillacs from a few years ago. The ones with the night vision built into the grill. Those were slick.

I priced the 07 at a little under 50K (im in Canada)....Full load with sport package. Im sure the 08 will go up a tad in price, especially with the new 300HP motor. Im expecting about 55K.

Don't like the painted wheel lips. Would look better with it all chrome. I did see pictures of one that was totally blacked out though, and that looked sweet. I believe it had black wheels as well.

Yep, I'll be picking up an '08 CTS as well, Ray. Loved it since I first saw pics of one a few months ago, and a great price for a daily driver.

Ron Carter Cadillac had just got their first few in last week when I was in Houston. The fully loaded one (every option currently available) stickered for $45k USD. Unfortunately it was already spoken for :Oh crap.

Never had a problem with the way American cars look. Only problem I had was when driving them.
