When shooting a girl-girl scene, it seems to me that many photographers and models consistently have the girls looking at the camera.

In my opinion, the theme of any girl-girl scene should be the interaction of the models with each other...not with the camera.

Why do photographers insist on having girls looking at the camera in most of the shots?

Am I totally wrong on this? Do viewers want to see girls looking at the camera, or interacting with each other?

The follow-up to the question is...

If you actually have high-quality girl-girl content for sale... that does NOT have the models looking at the damned camera in nearly every shot...post it here, because I'm interested.

Because the Camara is the surfer, so when the surfer look at the video and the girl look in the cam, they think the babes are looking at them while jerking off

I will accept that when it comes to single girl content. The model should flirt with the surfer, absolutely.

However, it is infintely more erotic, in my opinion, to see two girls who are "into" each other...than to see two girls together posing for the camera in nearly every shot.

Am I totally off base?

I think some viewers enjoy voyeurism and some like to see the subjects looking into the camera.

Just as long as the camera man doesn't speak, the content is good.

I also dont like the practiced-model-smile-for-the-camera content. I've seen lots of content where the girl is just smiling for the camera in every single pic. Standing there alone fully clothed at the beginning, to being double penetrated near the end. Every single pic in the series looks like the same exact thing based on the bland smile for the camera face. Completely boring.

I don't think anyone is looking for "the models smile for the camera for every picture", but you have to consider what you are selling... fantasy.

When you sell lesbian porn to lesbian girls, they are into the sex. When you sell lesbian porn to guys, you are selling to that "can I watch" fantasy that almost every guy has. He mentally pictures himself standing at the end of the bed / sofa / whatever actually taking the pictures. So the girls can SOMETIMES look at the camera without breaking the fantasy. Doubly so when you are talking gonzo or reality porn sets... I mean, come on... someone is taking pictures with a flash or running a video camera, of course the girls know the camera is there.

Don't think of it as "what seems real", just try to remember what fantasy you are selling.

Yes Alex...it is all about the "fantasy" and I agree that sometimes when the girls flash an erotic smile to the camera...or better yet, they flash an "oh god this feels good" look at the camera...it is fine and can be erotic.

My objection (which I seem to be beating into the ground), is when the girls are constantly looking at the camera and not even into each other. To me, it really shows the difference between an amateur and a pro.

Unfortunately, I have seen a lot of professional models do girl-girl scenes and do exactly what I am complaining about. It makes me wonder if they are just so accustomed to doing "solo" shoots that they don't know any different.
