Wow, just found out that Terminator 4 is in production!! I loved all of the first 3 Terminator movies, this one is gonna be off the hook!!

If you're a Terminator fan, which one is your favorite so far? Mine is Terminator 2, just something about that one, watched it about 8 times hehe.

If they brought back both Linda Hamilton and Edward Furlong I think it would feel alright.

I was disappointed with Terminator 3. I was looking forward to huge war scenes between human militias and the machines.

There is a series planned too. I've seen a pilot episode and it's not bad :)

Part 4 is just another example of Hollywood cashing in on the past, ingenuity is nearly dead. They should show some pride and let it go and think up something new and original for once.

I wonder how they gonna pull off making Arnold Switcherniger a young looking person, when he's pretty old and saggy now.

I hate how Hollywood milks great movies to death.

I mean: make a buck and go out at the top!

Most of these sequels are worse than the one before. It's all downhill after the first blockbuster.

The only exception that comes to mind is Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan

Terminator was the only good movie in the series

T2 sucked because it went off the Predestination paradox which was the foundation of the first movie

T3 sucked becasue the only way the could justify a new movie was to waste time getting the predestination paradox back on track.

T4 could either suck, or be really good, depending if they take advantage of the paradox being reset, or if they go with the screwed up t2 story line.

Why anyone would be clamouring for a fourth Terminator movie after the disappointing Terminator 3 – Rise of the Machines is a bit of a mystery. Just shows you mankind’s proclivity for unwarranted optimism I suppose . . .

Not even the money people would want another Terminator movie: the last one was so hugely expensive to make because of the legal fees involved to secure the rights as well as a salary large enough to buy a small country to entice the current governor of California back to the franchise that although the movie made oodles at the box office, it in fact barely recouped its costs.

It did however provide a massive salary for all the movie's key personnel though . . .

Anyway, it seems that director Jonathan Mostow who directed Terminator 3 has set aside some time in his schedule to direct this fourth installment. It doesn’t seem as if director James Cameron who directed and wrote the first two brilliant Terminator movies would be involved in any way . . . and neither are the two young stars of Terminator 3 either: Claire Danes and Nick Stahl haven’t been signed on?

And Arnie? Apparently they’re in discussions for him to appear in a small role in the upcoming movie. Can anyone else be the Terminator? Who knows? The Rock said he could be . . . and say what you will at least The Rock won’t be getting pensioner’s discount on the buses anytime soon . . .

The plot? Apparently the already finished script by John D. Brancato and Michael Ferris (who both did Terminator 3) skips ahead several years into the future from the ending of Terminator 3 and features a much older John Connor leading the rebellion of humans against the machines.

To be honest I’d rather have a plot in which they sent a Terminator back in time to prevent the two scribes from ever finishing the Terminator 3 script never mind this one!

T2 is one of my favourite movies of all times. T3 was a dissapointment but not that bad... i really didnt like the actor playing john connor and the role of john connor. It was a standard character without any personality

I kinda liked Aliens better than Alien. Can't really think of any other sequels that were better than the original though. Maybe the Road Warrior.

Anyways if you remember from the first Terminator they all didn't look exactly the same.

No matter how good the action and effects are.. it will not be the same without Arnold.
