Allow me to point out the fake hate and hypocrisy of this guy who wrote this. He has an entry "I hate children."

Ummm if he was true and really "got off on hate" he would cheer on the child killer instead.

If he hates children so much, why is he not wishing they were killed too?

These people and their fake hate sites make me laugh.

HATE is pure. He is not.

Fletch XXX 09-01-2007 09:37 AM

PS i dont wish any harm to the children, just have to call em like I see em.

yeah really. Unlike this guy, I'm kind of glad that we have a justice system, despite it's flaws.

Yep.

I love China, but its legal system is not exactly worth copying.

many people try to push the US constitutional law theory as the best system. Yet the US has a system where criminals often get off on minor technicalities, where convicted felons can often go back to court any number of times contesting minor or procedural errors that might of occurred, or even arguing that their judge might not have phrased the directions to the jury correctly.

China's legal system sucks, but it is too the point and certainly not tilted in favor of the criminals.

Eh?! He kidnapped the kid, and deserved to be taken down.

You're the kind of attitude that lets criminals get away with shit. People rape, murder, steal and hurt. And they get away with it a lot of the time.

Fuck that. This is justice!

Actually, I prefer the Dutch system over the US system. I don't trust juries to be entirely fair.

As for the Chinese system... it's tilted in favour of the government. That is to say, those legally opposing actions of the government have next to no chance of winning, while those the government wants convicted will get convicted.

Also, remember that the legal system should make sure people are actually guilty. This very fact tilts a good legal system in favour of criminals - if there is even a small chance that they aren't guilty, they should go free. Otherwise, innocent people will get convicted.

That's a good way to go in most situations, but if a criminal is 100% blatantly in the act of something deplorable, this type of action should be taken without the fear of liberal, bleeding heart pussy reprisal.

wild_jayx 09-01-2007 11:45 AM

thats a good sample for criminal

yeah, sadly, the US system isn't about guilt or innocence anymore, just "did they touch all the bases and is everyone involved in everything totally 110% above reproach". It is way too easy to get off, and way to hard to convict - and the penalties for being found guilty are often too small compared to the crimes.

baycouples 09-01-2007 12:11 PM

That'll never happen here. It's too good of an idea.

What if this person has down syndrome & doesn't know any better?

Or needs mental/psychological care & has no idea what they're doing?

Our system is setup the way it is for a reason.

China is still stuck in Animalistic society.

bronco67 09-01-2007 01:32 PM

While most of us are in favor of China's way of dealing with criminals(and so am I), this is also something that should really scare us. They are poised to become a superpower, and that should scare the rest of the world.

They are also a little overrated, maybe, and a potential superpower on paper...their products suck and they are constantly being exposed for doing some really fucked up shit(poisonous toothpaste and children's toys anyone?...and the cars from China do pretty bad in crash tests). Their corner cutting won't get them ahead as far as they'd like to be.

ridikuloz 09-01-2007 01:52 PM

ahhh the ignorance in this thread :thumbsup

Blue Player 09-01-2007 02:05 PM

China is the shittest country I have ever been to. The Chinese have so much hate in them it is unreal.

I was over there with a Japanese guy and asked him were they being shitty to me because I am not one of them, he told me that they are like that with everyone and pretty much hate anyone who isnt chinese.

That's what the North Koreans say when they send people off to the death camps. Pol Pot, Hitler, Stalin all had similar styles of justice. The Taliban was already mentioned, but the same goes on in Saudi Arabia and Iran.

I guess it's all good until it's your turn right?

D 09-01-2007 02:19 PM

In America, he woulda been taken out by sniper instead is the difference, I think.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 09-01-2007 02:33 PM

Well if it was determined the kidnapper had a lethal weapon in the United States the kidnapper would have been killed. Infact I can not hink of a situation as of late where a kidnapper was not killed if he had a fire arm and was considered armed and dangerous when confronted. Unless of course he surrendered quickly.

I really do not see the difference in this outcome from the USA or China, unless China has a law that states that its good and fine to kill someone in a non lethal or life threatening crime scene.

The example does not say the kidnapper had a lethal weapon or does not.
In the USA he would have been shot the same way if he had a lethal weapon.

Not by a pistol though but by a sharp shooter using a sniper rifle.
Which would have been a bigger gun.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 09-01-2007 02:36 PM

Remember inthe USA there are far more cases where criminal's are truly executed on the scene.

It's just not glamorised by the media. It makes the authorities look bad killing people that need killing.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 09-01-2007 02:41 PM

Infact The United States stance on Execution, and state sponsored public executions is Abyssmal by the international community.

The USA is still the most active violent country in these times and for the last 100 years if not longer. As Saddam said himself "In Iraq death is as common as gum on the shoe". Which is a believable and almost a factual estimation.

We are not much different than Alquida or The taliban.
But Worse.

You are on crack. The cases you happen to hear about in the US.. make it all over the news because it's not so common and we have freedom of press.

In China you are lucky to hear about it, because they don't have the freedom of press. The guy whom took those picture would likely be arrested if he was found.

Touching all the bases doesn't have to be a bad thing. If you create a good procedure, touching all the bases can indeed be a way to make justice likely.

As for it being too easy to get off... I don't know about that one. IIRC, the USA still has the highest prison population per capita of the entire western world.
