What countries have Labor Day?
do most countries have Labor Day this weekend or it's an American/Canadian thing?

A Labour Day is an annual holiday celebrated all over the world that resulted from efforts of the labour union movement, to celebrate the economic and social achievements of workers.

that's not the same holiday really - same name but different. In the US and Canada Labor Day is the weekend before a new school year starts in September and an unofficial end of summer.

Czechoslovakia (currently Czech rep and Slovakia) celebrates (and have for decades) labor day on May 1st.
