Watermarking an entire PHP page
I need to put some kind of protection or watermark on a wordpress demo, any ideas how to best accomplish this?
|
have you tried dropping a PNG file over the whole thing?

Really? I've heard otherwise about IonCube. According from what I read on their forum the current version hasn't been cracked yet...
Show me otherwise and I'll stop encoding my software : - ) |
hmm, zend encryption or overlaying a PNG.
Let me think about this. |
I'd like to see someone reverse engineer this Ion Cube encoded file.
Post back a non-encoded copy... http://www.calmdev.com/conf.inc.zip |

Code:
echo "Hello World"; |
Ha, almost, but seriously...
I'm putting my server on the line. Root access to my SQL server can be found within that file. |

And really think about it, php is open source, it's probably tricky to extract full source code, but a skilled c programmer could tweak mysql_connect function in a few minutes to log all calls to that function, then just recompile php, run your code... it's hardly rocket science... |

I don't think you actually know what you need... Watermark what exactly?
|
Nothing needs root access to my server, but I'm confident enough to put the file out in public on this forum, because I don't think anyone here is gonna be able to reverse engineer the encryption to get the information.
