Nas Show Canceled In Canada Due To Rapper's "Violent" Lyrics
Clicks For Canada
So, what is up Canadians? Nas' lyrics are too violent? This guy Isaac Cockburn (that's his real name) has decided to pull the plug on Nas performing. "Cockburn claimed that Peter Seguin, vice president of food and beverage for the centre, told him the centre has a policy banning hip-hop and rap." Can anybody offer any reasonable explanation for this? I just can't understand...the students voted for Nas to perform at this Rock the Vote event. By cancelling Nas, do they think that is going to influence young Canadians to vote? Any comments? |
There's no reason to use such language, ever.

For some reason all those clicks and whistles seem to incite violence.
