Help Please: Advice on LAOS (pic)
 

Ok, it's not exactly adult related.....but......

I am headed to Northern Laos in a couple of weeks for a photo trip, am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a MUST SEE off the beaten path.

Six years ago (before I knew how to use a camera properly) I visited Vientiane, Vang Vieng, and Luang Prabang. I plan to do the same this time, but may have a couple of days to see one more spot in the north.

I am thinking about Pak Ou/Nong Khiaw, but there is also Phonsavan (Plain of Jars)....maybe you know of something super kick ass that isn't in the guide books? I'd also be interested in hotel recommendations in Vientiane, Vang Vieng or Luang Prabang....
