Sounds like something that could get easily misused.

I prefer the noncommittal way that the board moderates things, myself, and - on rep - with the variety of topics here, it's easy enough to figure things out if you pay enough attention, imho.

But then, that's just my 2c

That would get misused big time, if you spend some time on here you get a pretty good idea of who is who and what they do

That would cost way to much money.

Add rep system + close new registrations only to hand/manually verified members, that would be good.
