Right before my Sophomore year in High School ~ his name was Mike and we played water polo on the same summer league, even though he'd graduated the year before. 1986 Blue Honda Civic, standard. Skyview Drive-in, East Side Santa Cruz. It was a clear and starry Friday night and we shared a box of red vines.
hmm, now what movie was it... |
About 4 or 5 years old(23-24 years ago). Don't remember the movie, but sat in the back of my moms big wood panel station wagon.
|
Oh yeah!
it was Mo' Money ~ but I think we just made out the whole time... poor Mike and his:(:( |

Way back in the 80's some time, Remeber my car and the girl I was with but not the movie. Had a 1971 Cuda with a 426 Hemi 4 speed, The shifter got in the way but we managed :thumbsup

2 years ago. I was in a little town called Tyler Texas that is one of the most bible worshipping religious towns you can find. It's kinda like the town in Footloose. I was absolutely amazed that on the outskirts of town there was a XXX drive in. I can't remember the name of it but it's on the way to a town called Longview. In this case the girl I went with suggested it. Since the girls down there are bored out of their skulls they pretty much like to do anything that remotely involves sex! Ya gotta love small towns!
Cool link to the Drive in locator Lens!:thumbsup |
I've never been to one. The only "drive-in" I know doesn't show any movie, it is just to furnicate. Oh, and it's cheap too: about $4.20

Just a few weeks ago...Vegas has a kickass drive in...6 screens and they play the first movie again after the second (during the first showing, the sky is usually too light to see anything anyways). Still on $4.75 a head and you obviously take in your own goodies so as to not have to pay $5 for a coke ;)

1973
just don't ask how old I was than lol |
|
Actually that was Jaws 2.

Last time I went to a drive-in was shohahahay before they tore it down to build a Wal-Mart's. I believe it was a Chuck Norris' double feature: "Good Guys Wear Black" & "Breaker, Breaker" in 1978. So I was 13 then...

'91 was the last time for me. I think I saw Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves with my GF. It was "our movie". Man, I miss high school!

Planet of the Apes and Kiss of the Dragon |
Last summer. It was right before I moved to California. We grabbed the convertible and off we went. It was Cats and Dogs, so stupid I wanted to leave after 10 minutes.
|
last time i went, two friends hotboxed in the trunk of my parents 86 cougar. good times
|
I was doing acid watching the Excorsist
70's fuck... I'm old |
star wars. smoked a joint & drank a bottle of wine . we both passed out & the attendant knocked on the window to wake us up. was driving a '74 1/2 datsun 260z.
|
was before my time :winkwink:
|
winnipeg has one - I go about once every 10 years
|
I LOVE going to the drive-in! Back in '95 an old friend came back to town (Tulsa) and hooked up with the son of the manager of the Admiral Twin, and so we got in free and saw Batman Forever like 20 times. (Okay, more like 6...but with the 'shrooms...well, never mind.)
I think the last movie I saw at a drive-in was The X-Files, but it was too dark and the sound was lousy. If I hadn't already seen it in the theater, I would not have had a clue what was going on. There's a six-screener or so just a few blocks from here. Been hoping to catch a double feature. And I have a big van now...:winkwink: |
i've never been, i don't think we even have them around here
