i agree with your point, but at least with vick they are taking some kind of a stand against someone in general, who has committed animal cruelty, yes dogs are put more on a pedistal than say cows/pigs, but at least somebody hurting an animal is being punished rather than not

i wish the same would happen to anyone hurting anything for fun, deer, pigs, birds, rats, squirrels, raccoons etc etc
