How to track refering URLs
Hi all
I would like to be able to track clicks that come from my various TGP galleries so i can check when (if :) ) I make a sale at my site where the click orginated from. Im trying to determine which TGPs convert best for me for example If i send a surfer from one of my galleries to mysite.com/index.html how do i track where that click came from thru to the sale where i get to see refering URLS Paysites use the ?code at the end of the URL.. how do i get such a system to work on my own sites. I dont want to make index1 / index2 ... etc just to track this... I hope that made sense...?? Any guidance and assistance would be greatfully accepted! cheers Nurgle |

in java or php?
In java its <scrip > refurl=document.referer; </scrip> |
do you own the pay site you are sending the traffic to?
|
go to http://scriptlance.com

There are many ways to acomplish that. It depends on how things are set up on your site though. Is it your paysite? Or, just some other site from which you send visitors to a sponsor?
ICQ me (33375924) if you want to talk about it. |
No I dont own the paysite, they can simply give me the referring URL, they can not do anything on their site. So i need to make the URL be identifable
I will hit u up a little late on ICQ woj.. cheers Nurgle |
