Get the MacBook?

Hey guys. I currently have an iBook and I will be upgrading for video editing purposes. No serious videos, just short (10 minutes or less clips) shot from a web cam. I'm looking at the newer MacBooks and was wondering what you, current MacBook owners, think of it? Also, how is the iSight in the MacBook in terms of quality for posting videos on the internet?

I love my Macbook pro..
Indeed you need at least 2 gig.. it makes it so much faster..
I installed parallels for Mac to be able to run window apps, but i only use it to run Statsremote..(there is a OSX version of Statsremote in the works)

OSX kicks ass and it looks awesome.. you will love it

Are you using Boot Camp? I also have a few windows apps that I would like to run on the MacBook. I hear the MacBook is great with Windows XP.

He's using Parallels which runs in OS X. I use Bootcamp, and my XP is faster on my MacBook than my PC.

+1 for 2 gigs of ram. I wanna get a better screen on my macbook, it's the only thing that i don't like here, the rest works great. It will become even more great when the guys from stats remote team will make a mac version of their soft... =)

I'd go with the Pro if you're going to want to be editing video on it for the most part.

I have the MacBook and love it. Loaded up the RAM and it does a decent job with video...BUT we had a MacBook Pro here this weekend and it was a whole different ballgame. Unfortunately, my girlfriend had to take it back to the office with her this morning.

I love my Mac. It does everything my PCs can do and more.
