Basically the usual processing plus facilities to capture the EU debit card biz (which is a significant factor within the EU).

Yep.. tickmaster (or whatever it is called) is free to set up - there are no VISA type fees in the EU.

Another relevant issue may be their biz model. Verotel have "third party monitoring" of client funds and have a provision in place for security of those funds should Verotel have any financial problems. There are only two processors (least that I know of), who offer this facility - Verotel and SegPay.

There could be moans about webmaster areas etc, but generally this is superceded by other benefits - one of which is an option to charge on sign-up pages using the Big Mac Index - ie a $29.95 membership for the US and a 29.95 Euros for the EU and 29.95 Sterling for the UK etc.

If you can pony up and afford it, go ccbill - tried tested and true. Verotel did pay me for years but was very slow in responding to tech / support requests.
