LOL, God this is such a tired old excuse, and frankly all it does is cite your ignorance.

Since Mac can run ALL PC software and ALL Mac software, I guess that makes it like 200%?

You are stupid. I've been to MANY sites that are not mac compatible. I've seen many pieces of software that says NOT Compatible with Mac.

CurrentlySober 08-25-2007 06:42 PM

As for what its worth, I think vistas great!
If you get a pc with vista on it, it is all compatible and works very well indeed.

I belive that 95% of the problems with vista are from when people are upgrading on an older machine

No you are stupid, because you can fucking fun XP & Vista on a Mac Jackass, learn the fucking difference between Mac and OS X, here I'll help, Mac is a computer, OS X is system software.

Fuck you're stupid. Not only does it run on a Mac running Windows, but it also runs on a Mac running OS X.

Once again the VAST majority of software out there will NOT run on a Mac using the Mac OS. To say "Well I can run Vista on my Mac" doesn't count. What kind of fucking retard gets a Mac because he thinks Vista sucks then goes ahead and runs Vista on his Mac? And I am the clueless one?

Keep in mind there are some apps that require certain hardware (high-end render cards, etc) to be installed in order to operate and this hardware cannot be installed in a mac. Most normal apps are probably able to run on a WinMac, but not all...

:2 cents:

The kind of person who wants two computers in one, you know the smart and successful people who realize having better tools makes you more efficient, oh wait, you probably don't know that.

You are pretty much clueless on everything. LOL, doesn't count... ok little boy, go back to mommy now.

I swear you are retarded. If someone claims that "I think Vista sucks ass" then he gets a Mac then spend $160 getting Vista, then he is a RETARD. That's like saying "I think McDonald's food sucks", but you still eat there because you want variety.

If Apple was smart and supposedly had the better OS then they'd offer it for PC users. To continually hope to convert PC owners to Mac owners is pointless.

4Pics 08-25-2007 08:51 PM

Buy a Mac!

MattO 08-25-2007 08:52 PM

It's funny how mac fans have to defend themselves so vehemently so they can fell better about themselves wasting all that money.

When did I ever say I had Vista on my Mac, I run XP, because Vista sucks.

Why don't you contact Apple and address your concerns about their marketing tactics, I am sure they could use a good laugh talking to a brainiac such as yourself about it.

You are kidding or misinformed. You can run everything great on the Mac and so it much more efficiently than on Windows but if you really feel the need, you can run Windows on the mac too.

You can't run OS X on a PC... that's the point.

Who said buy a Mac its run XP? The whole "Macs can't run the same programs as a PC" is the only stupid thing said in here today. I believe you were one of them saying that, what a big surprise that is.

Maybe you should learn a little something about computers before you try to join in on a discussion about them, just a thought.

It's no surprise the one program you linked was a fucking video game... lol

I was speaking in generalities about the vast majority of computer buyers not a specific person. Does anyone READ here. Did everyone fall asleep on the day the taught CONTEXT in English class?

shake 08-25-2007 09:22 PM

Yeah it's nice that Macs now run Intel chips so that you can install XP just like on any other PC. Just boot up into Windows when you need to. Also Parallels lets you run Windows programs right inside OS X - it's pretty cool. I can't justify the expense for the speed of computer that I need so I'm stuck with a crappy windows box.

Yes you can. It's not Apple approved, but it's certainly doable. Google for something like "OS X on a pc" and you'll see a few million links on how to do it.

I can also shove a pig up a cows ass if I take the time. You can't put a OS X disc in a PC an load it... and you know what I meant, you're just trying to pat yourself on the back for being uber elite.

I dont know why people think Vista sucks or why they would have problems with it, expeciall yon a new computer, unless they got the $499 special at best buy.
I have vista running (pre-installed) on 2 Dell XPS systems and on my dell laptop with zero problems.

is windows better then MAC or Linux better then windows, who really cares...
