Just doing a little shopping around but how much do writers charge per word (adult). Assuming it was for 50 blog posts with about 100 words each post.

For that much, I myself would probably charge about $2.50 to $3.00 per entry, dependent upon the content and any special requests you may have of course. There are a bunch of text writers here on GFY, so I'm sure the rates and quality will vary.

I agree there. Hardly worth taking a job for less than 3.00 an entry, especially if you've got to come up with something creative from scratch.
