Just another example of the white man trying to keep the negros down.

RawAlex 08-24-2007 03:21 PM

I am actually waiting for Al Sharton to come out and say the white man forced Vick to kill dogs for fun and profit.

Can't wait.

I have been waiting for the same thing. Either that or the ACLU will jump in and side with him saying that a white guy doing the same thing wouldn't get as big of a penalty.

kane 08-24-2007 03:24 PM

If there is good news for Vick it is that this isn't a lifetime ban (yet) so he can always later appeal for the suspension to be removed.

I remember seeing that on CNN a few weeks ago. Very stupid indeed.

Spunky 08-24-2007 05:37 PM

I'm sure he could get a job in the CFL:1orglaugh

CDSmith 08-24-2007 05:38 PM

Vick will get out of jail and end up in the CFL, probably with Edmonton Eskimos.

He wouldn't be the first banned NFL'er up here.

zand_stein 08-24-2007 06:02 PM

too bad for him..........
that one of the consequences....

seems like I just read they changes the rules up in the great white yonder. no more banned NFL payers. check around I'm sure you'll find the article somewhere.

was only a matter of time

Peaches 08-24-2007 09:38 PM

Here's the way I see it: 99 times out of 100 people do plea deals because what they REALLY did is a lot worse and they don't want to go in front of a jury with the real facts. Even in his plea deal he's admitted he funded the gambling and participated in torturing the dogs. IMO, he probably did a lot worse.

Right now the Falcons are talking about getting back some of the signing bonuses he got.

People keep saying this is all about the dogs and dogs aren't really important. Besides me thinking dogs ARE important, the simple fact is that he broke SEVERAL STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS. To just say "Oh, well, he's a superstar so let's not come down hard on him" or "They are only going after him because he's so famous" is absurd. Many states have recently passed very harsh sentences on people who abuse dogs. Georgia has several laws in progress that will nail the Good Ol Boys who engage in dog fighting too.

I hope they nail his ass in court and in prison (though I'm sure no one will touch him in prison).

Now they have to put down 53 more dogs which at least will get a more humane death than the one they faced with Vick and his cohorts.

The changed the rules after Ricky Williams went there, so they now won't accept players that are currently under NFL suspension. Not to mention he won't have an easy time working in Canada with a felony conviction...

I agree I think most people do plea because they know if they go to trail they will be found guilty and get a much harsher penalty.

Vick most likely funded all of this was the ring leader in all of it and he knows with all the people that would testify against him he would go away for a while. I just heard today that the state of Virginia (where all this took place) is probably going to press separate charges against him so he may end up getting more time after he serves his federal time. It really is starting to look like Vick is a slimy piece of shit and is going to get what he deserves.

chupacabra 08-24-2007 09:58 PM

good, fuck him. its not near what he deserves though, the worthless piece of garbage. i will admit i did enjoy seeing on tv his jerseys being dropped off at local animal shelters to use for cleaning up dogshit.

fuck him, i hope he is drowned/electrocuted/raped/beaten to death while in prison, i'd call him an animal but that would be insulting to animals everywhere..

HeadPimp 08-24-2007 10:12 PM

Personally I think he needs to have someone kick him in the nuts at least three times a day for the rest of his life. Not because of what he did to the dogs, but simply for being AMAZINGLY stupid.

What kind of mental retardation do you need to have to put your NFL paycheck at risk as well as your entire career, and millions of dollars in sponsorships? That is a special kind of stupid.

Spunky 08-24-2007 10:14 PM

The BC lions will take him

All stupid people should be kicked in the nuts three times a day. That should leave the stupid element holding their bruised nuts and keeping them from posting on GFY.

Seriously... on Vick - 20 years imprisonment.

Vitasoy 08-24-2007 11:28 PM

Not surprised at all.. he'll probably get a year or two, ontop of what jail sentence he gets
