Booking some Vaction time and found a great deal to go to NY in December.
Anyone have advise on when is the best time to plan a Vacation to NY or not?

December is a great month to go. The city totally tansforms for the holidays. There is tons to do and see.

I'm also looking for a inexpensive place to stay, somplace near central park west.

Make sure you pack your longjohns, a few pairs of gloves, your winter coat and a nice warm hat.

Not many cheap places in the city, especially during the holiday's. Might want to try Hotel.com and compare rates for the area you want.

christmas season is the best time to go there...........
lots of deals and discounts also..........

I hope so I really need the time off. I havent had a real vacation since 2002.

I'm headed up north in 2 weeks .. Wish I could see the city, but going to Upstate

yea this is a must or your freeze your nuts off for sure

like everyone said theres tons to see and do in the city during the holidays so if you head in during that time you'll have plenty of things to keep you busy.

wow its summer, but all I can think of is Rockerfeller Center around X-Mas...lol
