Is CCBILL going down the toilet like iBill did?
I had countless ccbill affiliate program accounts that were all signed up for separately..
Last month on the 21st I had ccbill merge them all together. (I now have a total of 99 affiliate accounts) Immediately I had noticed that I was missing hundreds of dollars in sales that I was owed prior to the 21st... None of their totals added up right for anything at all, it was completely obvious that there was a problem. I immediately emailed them and they couldn't see anything wrong.. After a half dozen emails back and forth and a bunch of screen caps spelling it out for them they finally noticed the issue and sent the problem to "resolution" to have it fixed.. 23 days went by with no word back from them.. So I emailed them again to see what was up, I was told they were very busy and were sending it back to "resolution" again. Today as I looked at my checks, I've only been paid sales over the past month for just my main account and one other account, I HAVE NOT BEEN PAID for the other 97 affiliate accounts.. (I have 99 total) I just emailed them again... (all-in-all it's been 33 days since the problem happened and 24 emails sent and received so far with no results...) They owe me a crapload of money and seem to be in no hurry to correct their problems... Anyone else having problems like this? Should I be worried that CCbill is gonna screw us all like ibill did? |
Why dont you contact RonC if you do a search his email is somewhere on here.

Probably just a genuine screw-up I think CCbill are a long long long long long long way from being anything like Ibill.
|
if you have to ask this question you must be a fucking n00b.. call 888-736-6474. They'll fix you up.
|
I have never missed a check from ccbill so I would say no.
CCbill is top notch |
CCBILL and IBILL don't even belong in the same paragraph together.
|
No way! lol If there was a glitch due to the program transfer/regrouping under one account, it's a technical one they'll spot and then boom your reconciled accounts will be sent to you in one big-ass check - just keep at them.
I KNOW from our sales and affiliates alone there's no way CCBill is anywhere near hurtin' |
CCbill is working fine for me, no probs here
Peter |
so far in my 8 years, ccbill has been the only one that has had no probs ( that i am aware of ) , they are not going anywhere
|
CCBill is great for me!
|
CCBill is one of the best run and most professional companies in our industry. Every day we should thank God we have CCBill.

It sounds to me like a simple accounting problem occured. For instance, when you have individual accounts, you have to reach $25 in sales for that account before you get paid while when accounts are merged, you get 1 check for all programs as long as the total for all is $25.
Maybe it's possible that since you had them merged, the accounting didn't properly carry over and those accounts your missing payments for are still waiting to reach their individual $25 balance before they're paid out. I hope it works out for you. As others stated, CCBill seems as solid as an adult processor could be in these times. In the past decade I've used them, they never missed a payment nor shorted me a penny. I'd have to chalk this up to just a bizarre accounting issue that I'm sure will be resolved. Sometimes you have to skip past the initial support tech and get to someone higher up, but I'm confident your situation will be resolved. - PornAddict |
I just got my biggest check from ccill ever, so I really doubt they are in any danger... They are one of the top two billing services out there....

My biggest problems with CCBill after 5 years of using them as an affiliate for hundreds of sites are:
1> Password security. My password has an underscore in it (grandfathered I guess) so when I sign up to a new program, I enter my password with underscores, but when I enter it at the form with my address etc, it won't work. I called CCBill, they had no idea. While I was on hold, I tried the password without the underscores, and it worked. I asked them to please change my password, they wouldn't. 2> Some of their new forms don't say 8-15 characters for password length, they say 8-12 I think.. No idea why. Again my password won't work with these.. I called, they had no idea, went to another team, no idea.. So while on hold, I messed with it, and found if I remove underscores, AND shorten it to 12 characters, it would work and let me signup. ????? I mentioned this to them, said it's weird that 3 different but similar passwords work sometimes... No big deal to them it seemed, nothing they were going to do about it. 3> No notification when a SPONSOR stops using CCBill. Would be nice if they sent affiliates a little note when a sponsor stops using their acct, so I can pull my links! 4> No per-sale notification e-mails. I've asked, they don't seem to be able to do it. Having said all that, they are still my favorite place to use as an affiliate. Nats is fine and all, but having tons of accounts with small amounts of money that I don't have access to kinda sucks. Great for the sponsors, which is probably why Gamma has like 6 different setups now... :/ |
ccbill rocks

Naughty-Pages,
We're taking another look at this right now and we'll contact you very shortly. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you. Regards, Adam CCBill.com 1-800-510-2859 [email protected] |
I'd love if it you could address my issues too Adam
I currently use THREE passwords to access CCBill.. One account.. You tell me. ;) See above, my 5 points. |
CCbill is rock solid. Don't ever compare them to ibill

I should mention, I've been doing this (affiliate programs and members sites) since '95, I let my guard down with ibill and it cost me thousands.. (seriously) I have used ccbill for close to a decade for affiliate programs and also switched our members sites over to them after the ibill fiasco... and I have NEVER HAD A PROBLEM like this before with ccbill, but I was just frustrated and a bit concerned that correcting this issue is taking so long.. (and I secretly figured posting this would expedite the issue as it may get the attention of ccbill reps that peruse the board). Thank you again... |
I had the same problem as you. Less accounts and most likely less money but other than that it was the same. Took a long time to get fixed and in my case the trick was to get past the customer support and get the contact of someone who can actually help you.
I love CCbill and i love to bill with them. The customer support is excellent for SMALL issues. Right now if i have any other problems than a password that isnt working or something like that i go straight to Corvette or my other icq contact and they get things done instantly. The problem with bigger issues is that every time you send a mail and get a reply its someone else. Ive been explaining problems over and over again. Then you wait 2 days...nothing happens..you mail again and yet another person responds and you back to start. Honestly, Corvette and the other person who helps me they do an awesome job and could replace the whole customer support team together. |

CCBill will be here until the Interweb dies.
Question, just out of curiosity. Why would you sign up for 99 ccbill accounts without using the merge feature somewhere along the line? I mean you still get a separate account number for each site and all when you merge. The only thing different is you can use 1 login and you get 1 check. This also means until the other day when you finally had CCBill merge them; you had to log into 99 different ccbill accounts to check your stats? Clever you are. |
i hate when people lose money :(
|
so u were getting 99 seperate cheques from ccbill? or im probably retarded
|
why do idiots always come to this board to spout there bullshit?
its amazing. you've been here since 95? you might want to keep that quiet. if after all this time you think this is the best way to resolve an issue with your processor, you should let your dog run this mighty internet business of yours |

If I had to guess, the revenue from those 99 ccbill affiliate accounts make up only about 15% of my affiliate related income.. so asking this question to others using them is important... Quote:

after that i just kept signing up for new accounts out of habit. initially I had about 50+/- accounts over the years but then after the merge I signed up for another 50+/- all at once right after the merge It wasn't an issue for me as I originally had my login stats set up on a local script I wrote which made it easy to check stats if needed, but i also had email notification of sales turned on anyway.. I wanted to merge them to obviously make things simpler as far as comparing programs, receiving one check and other issues.. Quote:
based on that, yes, I?d have to say it was the best way.. I've been around awhile and know how things work, I?m glad i could help you learn something new... and as far as the idiot comment.. "there" is not the same as "their" , if you need some help with spelling and grammar you pretty much fall into the category of a person of subnormal intelligence (the definition of an idiot) HINT: Stop inflating your post count with dumbassed ignorant replies like that and do some work... LOL Quote:
Since I posted this, they've taken care of a couple accounts, but I still have at least 33 accounts that are note linked properly and that I have not been paid for? My issue is was why is it now 41 days after I first addressed the issue and there are still issues? Why is it that I have to waste time going through each account and point the errors out for them?? It would have taken someone from ccbill just a few minutes to examine my sales vs payouts to see that I am not being paid... but instead I have to do the work... |

You aren't CCBill's only client. Investigate issues, do the legwork, contact CCBill... don't expect them to follow you around cleaning up your messes. |
I honestly think ccbill is fucking up lately.

Good luck naughty I am sure the problem will resolve.

When dozens and dozens of people complain about not being paid, you can start thinking it's possible that they're going down the ibill path.
Since it's just you, then it's only an accounting fuckup and you just created the thread title to get attention. |

That's a first.. and not a very good company motto.. "we screw up and you pay for it" LMFAO!! you're just silly... (keep working on that post count.. ) |
I once had a programming error with CCBill, where I was not being credited for certain amounts. I called them on the phone, this great guy answered, who didn't have a clue what I was talking about, but after about 1/2 hour of discussing the situation, and sending him a screencap he was able to understand what I meant.
He sent my issue off to the programming department and I was told it would take about 10 days to fix the glitch (the glitch was just something to do with my account, not a system wide glitch). Within 7 days though (3 days ahead of schedule) they had it fixed, informed me of the money that would be added on to my check and I was happy. I have to say my issue was resolved in a very professional manner and I stand behind them :) |

glad you caught on... some people will never learn I suppose :upsidedow |
I noticed several glitches in CCBill's system in the last two months (email notifications suddenly turned off, wrong paypage, website and company name mixed up...). I seem to remember having read somewhere they're migrating to a new system version, so I think that's probably the reason.
Comparing CCBill to Ibill is total nonsense though. I dropped Ibill over a year before they went under cause I just couldn't bear dealing with their fucked up system and soviet-style client support any longer. While I had minor issues with CCBill's system and some of their support ppl too, they certainly never gave me anything close to that we-have-no-clue-what-we're-doing-and-we-don't-give-a shit-anyway Ibill feeling. |
CCBIll is great but no one can deny their email support is run by monkeys. Just call them anytime you have a problem.
|
Any company as large and complex as CCBill is going to have the occasional glitches in their systems. Consider the number of accounts, affiliates, and transactions that run through them on a daily basis, and you'll realize that you are complaining about a very small fraction of their operations. To compare them to Ibill here is ridiculous!
I'm not saying your problem is insignificant, I'm just saying that if they had large-scale problems, you'd see every thread on every board complaining about it! We've been with CCbill since we started in 99, and I can honestly say they have never dropped a single transaction nor missed a single payment. That has earned my trust. I'm sure that they will make every effort to straighten out your issues. Steve Lightspeed |
I use to love Ibill. In fact as would have sucked the guy who owned Ibill cock. After he sold it for $400m or whatever it was all the owners after must have actually tried to fuck it up.
Seriously they were one of the greatest ever adult companies. To destroy something like that requires serious effort. |
