Ever had a gf see razor burn on your neck and accuse you of

...getting a hicky?

I have. A nurse I was seeing several years ago, and you would think a nurse would know the difference between razor burn and a hicky.

One thing with women I hate more than arguing is having my honesty and my character called into question. Hate it.

Huge red flag when the woman you're with is so insecure. My MO is pull that or something like it a few more times and that's it. I figure the purpose of getting into a relationship with someone is to make life better, not more mserable.

How do you deal with insane jealousy?

Sosa 08-22-2007 01:53 PM

hey man, the football pool ready? :)

I'm with you...

It's either a sign of insecurity on the woman's part, or serious trust issues somewhere... neither of which usually makes for a happy ending unless she addresses them in short order.

Besides, in this business, jealousy is a mind-killer.

nope never had it, but I did have a girlfriend's mother notice a hikcy on my gf's chest once when her top wasn't pulled up as much as it should have been.

aico 08-22-2007 01:57 PM

I wasn't old enough to shave during the hicky stage of life.

Aneros Josh 08-22-2007 01:59 PM

ahhhhhhh yes...the old "razor burn" excuse....did she believe it?

Ayla_SquareTurtle 08-22-2007 02:01 PM

Well if you are telling the 100% truth and she doesn't believe it, there's not much you can do. Some people are just raised to be distrustful and insecure.

Now if you cheated on her 100 times before, and then the one time you don't cheat, she doesn't believe you, you really can't blame her.

Then here's a newsflash: Grownups sometimes pull the hicky thing too.

Believe it or not.

some women particularly like to "mark their territory"... some like to mark some other woman's territory.

Fair enough, but I've met a couple of chronic cheaters who can never understand why people don't trust them. They get offended, etc. Glad to know you aren't one!

Who hasn't known some chronic cheaters? Christ.

I've also known several chronic jealousy freaks, which is what I'm talking about on this thread.

Know any of those?

Why would you ever "deal with" insane jealousy? I wouldn't put up with a relationship like that for a second.

RudeBoy 08-22-2007 05:39 PM

actually, not really. I hear about them from other people and the friend of a friend is dating one, but Ive been lucky enough to not have to deal with them overall.

frostyimpressions 08-22-2007 05:40 PM

If you think that's bad, I had a an ex that found a receipt for McDonalds that was obviously for ONE person and he went off on me calling me a "cheating slut". He was actually the one slutting around and not me.

who 08-22-2007 05:41 PM

I'd tell her to give you a hickey on the other side or a non-rashed side of your face and ask her to compare the two. :)
