What programs do you use to chop and edit vids?

final cut pro

Adobe Premiere Pro for the most part.

funny i was just doing some edits last night, and as often adobe premier gave me problems.. finally shut it down and went with the windows xp video maker..it worked great and was easy to use. i heard Vegas is really great also.

Premiere Pro CS3 w/ the Aspect HD 5 plugin for editing hdv, Cleaner XL 1.5.2 and Sorenson Squeeze 4.5.3 for encoding and some misc apps incl. Boilsoft Splitter 4.28 to cut up vids.

Isnt that just for a mac?

I don't think vegas is "great" but it gets the job done.

i am no editor, just what i heard from others..i just edit samples and shit like that.
am i the only one who has problems with adobe premier? why do people like this application? i got it becuz adobe is a reputable company but i hate that application..

Adobe premier works fine for us. For prono it's fine.

fcp is only for mac and is one of the best editing programs out there.

for those who dont know, the guy who wrote adobe premier was stolen by apple to write fcp

vegas is great if you know how to use and maximize its features...
