Who is at fault in this horrific Skeeball accident? [video]

Being the world champion of Skeeball (high score 630,000), I found this video to be disturbing.

Before watching, note that they are using the old heavy balls and not the newer light weight kind that are being put into circulation.

Notice the father's blatant disregard for the welfare of the victim after what happens. So was the little boy in the way, or should this girl and her father get beat down in the parking lot?

Babaganoosh 08-21-2007 10:03 PM

Where were the kid's parents? Whoever was supposed to be keeping an eye on the kid is at fault. Seems like there are under-supervised kids running amuck everywhere you go these days. Don't believe me? Go to Wal-Mart or Target on a Saturday.

First, it's the boys fault...that's obvious.

But the fucked thing is the father didn't even bother to see if that boy was ok. He just sat there telling his girl, 'well it's his fault.'

And it's not like the girl is to young to be left alone if her father wanted to make sure the boy was ok. And you wonder why our youth is fucked and lack empathy. Nice example he set for his girl.

Going by the type of Skeeball machine, that is Chuck E. Cheese's. It's always been known as a kid safe theme restaurant. Kids have been running around the place without adults for decades. So I don't see that as a problem.

Whatever... when is that kid going to learn not to stick his head in the skeeball track? I'm sure he had some idea it might hit him... even so I feel bad for 'im. The dad was most likely afraid of getting in trouble!

Agreed. I'm sure it was the first and the last time for this boy to stick his head out like this.

the kid had his head in the lane that wasn't being used, chick did it on purpose, look at the video, she's playing on the first lane. the one with his head is in isn't even active :1orglaugh

I was at a school carnival once with my nieces...and they had a dart game set up near a brick wall...no not right up against the brick wall...near it...so there was about 5 feet of walking room behind them.

They put some rope on each side but that didn't work, everyone would step under it instead of going in front of the dart game.

Well as I was standing there, this kid about 12-13 walks back there, and someone misses the dart board and pow...right into the kid's left cheek...LOL

I don't know who was dumber, the adult that set up that accident waiting to happen, or the kid thinking it was safe to walk past a roped off area where darts were being thrown.

I don't know if she did it on purpose, but it's her fault for being such a fucking spaz that she can't keep her ball in her lane.

rapmaster 08-22-2007 03:01 AM

they're all stupid

phjohnso 08-22-2007 03:06 AM

Yikes OUCH!

Matt 26z 08-22-2007 03:51 AM

Okay, now I am speechless. The father also made this video loop of the toddler getting hit set to "Hit me with your best shot"...

tranza 08-22-2007 09:45 AM

Wow, nonsense...

teg0 08-22-2007 09:58 AM

Well its just one of those accidents. The kid learned a lesson, but the father should have at least followed that child to wherever he ran of screaming towards to say what happen. Then he makes a loop of it with "Hit me with your best shot?" What a jerk.

riabanana 08-22-2007 10:07 AM

His mom's a bit too negligent.

Princess Ellisa 08-22-2007 10:10 AM

Ya I do not blame the kid or the girl and her father playing. I want to know where the kid's parents are and why they let their 2 maybe 3 your old son wander around unsupervised. They are lucky nothing really bad happened.

Brother Bilo 08-22-2007 10:12 AM

That was awesome. The dude filming didn't even give a fuck either. Just told the girl to keep going because he shouldn't of been there. Awesome.

Parents let thier kids run totally out of control in places like that.

We were standing with my son ( 2 years old ) and he was trying to play skeeball. He can throw the ball about 1 foot. and thats it. the ball is to heavy for him. But he likes to try on his own. While we are watching, a kid of about 5 or 6 walks up, and watches for about 2 seconds, and then tries to take the ball from my son to throw it himself. We grabbed him, and told him to go away and to ask his parents for money so he could play on his own. He just looked at us. 20 min later he tried it again.

Dollarmansteve 08-22-2007 10:21 AM

I think the real question is - who cares?

Violetta 08-22-2007 10:21 AM

jonesonyou 08-22-2007 10:24 AM
