Does anyone here have a wacky eye?

You know, eyes that focus in different directions? Any advice for a person who's trying to determine which is the good eye? I'm always embarrassed when I don't know which eye to try to focus on when I am talking to a person whose eyes point different directions.

if you just have a lazy eye, wear a patch when you're alone. You'll eventually start to regain some control over it. I have a lazy left eye, but it only starts to drift off if I'm really tired and not focusing on something in particular. Other than that its normal. Every now and then i'll see it a little wacky in a picture, but usually only some picture where I'm really tired.

Lazy eyes are from either mental retardation or child molestation implulses. Eye patches will not help you from either wearing a helmet or hanging out at elementary school bus stops.

AaronM looks like that bald weirdo in some of the movies where his eyes shake. I can not think of the name of the movie but the one with John Cusack where he a cop and stops at a hotel in a rain storm? Identity... let me Google a pic.

Well I can't post on yet, but his name is Pruitt Taylor Vince

He looks just like AaronM :1orglaugh

I have a lazy left as well from overdeveloped eye muscles, oddly enough I have better than 20/20. and it only starts do drift when I get really tired. Not looking like an ass would be by simply looking in between the guys eyes when looking at him or her, lol. This way you will never be wrong and they will never know the difference.

I have exotropia in the left eye, it points out at a 45 degree angle. I go in for surgey to have it corrected at the end of the month. Just look at the eye that is looking at you. Just don't look around and ask them if they are talking to you.

I used to have a "lazy eye" - starting in the 11th grade - but only when I was tired or drinking. My friends learn to use it a gauge to know if I could drive or not ;) I wore glasses for a year that strengthened that eye up and haven't had trouble since.

I always wondered what I should do when I'm talking to someone with exotropia. I just look into the corrected eye and try not to look into the other.
