My stance on affiliate programs and their stance on tube/torrent/forum sites.

Every site I check typically has the wonderful clause of your account will be terminated and all monies forfeited.

Honestly big fucking whoopty doo! So you get caught, you keep the cash, affiliate can re sign up under some other name etc and all is well. Most importantly they "forfeited the monies" so the program still got the cash. FUCK THAT.

I am changing my TOS come morning. Publicly from now on my companies stance will be that your account will be terminated, your URL will be banned, and all monies will be forfeited and donated to a charity of my choice that I will publicly display. I reserve the rights to also publish all information submitted for an account publicly in where I feel like it.

I am sick of sites taking the money from cheaters and keeping it yet acting like they are doing the right thing.

It will be in the TOS and that is warning them upfront. Of course I will email all current affiliates to check our updated TOS and have the option of cancelling their accounts within one week of the posting date of the new TOS.

Hey, nothing can be too harsh for people who support content theft IMHO. Do what you gotta do.

Start posting info - we want to know, because there business is in for a serious dent, and not just from you...hopefully one that will want to make them change their ways.

Here is what I do not get, if it's against your TOS why do programs just "ban" the affiliate and move along. IF they were sending from a bad or negative URL that they did not want the traffic from would they not block it?

If you SPAM a program I promise you the URL it's coming from will be banned, why are the torrent and tube url's not banned?

Nice move my friend, congrats on making a move more people should be making.
