Sorry to the err.. 10 or so people who care, the server was down most of the weekend and my tech guy just didn't give a rat's ass. Nice eh. :mad::mad:

I'd setup email notification to my cell phone, cc the Sysadmin, and can his ass if he ignores it knowing I am out of town.

You need people that step up to the plate and take care of business without you forcing their every move.

uptime monitoring is the only way to go... the sooner you know about the problem the less $$ you will lose because of it, even a 1 hour downtime can be costly...
