actual experience appreciated, (i.e. you have tried the same quality content on different tours).

Does a flashy, well designed tour convert better than a simple 6th grade design? Is it really the content that does the selling?

On the flip side, can a flashy tour sell average or non-exclusive content better that a simple tour?

BONUS QUESTION:

Do the tour video trailers make or break the sale?

• Flashy Tour + Crap Content = Good balance, should do pretty well = Webmasters will promote this (in general).
• Exclusive / Good Content + Crappy Tour = Good balance, should do well = Webmasters won't promote this (in general... smart ones will).

Go for the medium, try and find the sweet spot between good content, simple, nice tours, but not "flashy / glossy".

Trailers "should" make the sale, however if they aren't good trailers, they can break the sale. You need a good editor for these.

Ultimately, the surfer is there to "buy a membership" and "get off". It's up to your tour to tell them why they are joining right now, what makes your site a great one to join, what makes your content worth paying for, and provide them with perceived quality and value, to entice them to pull out their Credit Card.

I can't get over the shitty content that gets passed off as reality these days. Many of the "top" reality sites have average looking content so I would assume it is the flashy tour that closes the deal. Even the trailers are so-so. Is it just that a surfer gets tired of hunting and eventually sur-comes to a flashy design??

I promote everything and let the surfers decide what I should concentrate my efforts in.. :)

you keyed in on the content/tourdesign ratio...smart webmasdtres will convert the amateur style with good content..

if anyone knows anything... High end glossy exclusive flash content will always sell good... but amateur will simply, sell better...

what you dont want, is to mix mediocre with crap.

I have tried three tours and the 6th grade one does best , lots of good exclusive girls too helps that out

It varies. It all comes down to content. If a guy sees a chick he wants to fuck on the tour he will think about signing up. If the site looks like it's a good value for the cost then it's a done deal.

The only thing about a flashy tour is it can trick the guy into thinking it's more valuable.

So flashy helps, but it's not necessary.

If you want to have webmasters promote it you will need a flashy tour though.
