BIG ups to Fleshlight for finally taking a stance against torrents!!!

It took you a bit to get on board, but you're on now and I applaud you on this huge step in doing the right thing.

As a content producer who has DVD content stolen the day the movies are released and distributed for free on these sites, I thank you.

I'm not sure if this was partly Juicys doing, but mad props to the mad poster as I think he started the ball rolling. I thank you too.

:thumbsup

Props to the people who pushed FleshLight to do the right thing......

yeah.... I got the email last night. Very cool...

don't think any 'props' are in order yet... many are watching certain sites to see if they carry through w/ this, and so far it has proven no more than hot air.

adultsins. net is still proudly flying their banners which are still clicking right through into their billing system... how about a 'good faith' gesture for those who want to believe FL..?

:2 cents: :(

btw, the site mentioned above seems to show FL banners right next to some pretty questionable niches, at least as far as VISA and their brethren would be concerned..

a wter fall starts with but one drop of water, but is this a waterfall in the making, or just a leaky pipe?

In the email Fleshlight sent out, they gave affiliates 72 hours to remove all ads from torrent sites, which means some may still be up until Monday. Fleshlight can't literally remove the ads themselves. It's up to the affiliate to do that. If an affiliate doesn't comply, I'm assuming Fleshlight will suspend their account on Monday. But that still doesn't mean the ad will disappear, although it would be stupid to keep a banner up if you aren't making any money from it.

I've seen a bunch of FL banners disappear over the past couple of days. I know we live in an instant gratification, just add water, microwave, FedEx world, but sometimes you need to have a little patience.

And if you see a torrent ad, send the info to FL first and give them a chance to deal with it before you go board bashing. I'm sure it's not easy to keep tabs on every single banner location every minute of every day.
