Coupon Code "cjcdtaker2" Gets You .coms at GoDaddy for $6.95

Just used the code today, confirmed its working. Wish it worked on renewals, their coupons used to work on renewals too, then someone must have noticed and fixed it.

Anyway, enjoy saving a few :2 cents::2 cents:.

Moniker gives me that same pricing --day in and day out --plus I get better security and better customer service.

:)

Meh, everyone has their preffered registrar. I like Dotster best of all and put most of my "important" domains through them, but $14.95 is too much to pay IMHO.

GD's customer service has gotten better I think, though I have not had a reason to call them for a while now.

FredIsMe 08-18-2007 11:58 AM

I'll stick with namecheap. Thanks though minusonebit.

baX 08-18-2007 12:00 PM

Thanks minusonebit
I'm planning to buy me some mainstream domains tonight.

You can get 6.95 domains all year round at godaddy....just go to google and search domains and click on the sponsored listing, they are always 6.95 that way

baX 08-18-2007 12:45 PM

Looks like I was the only fool payin $8.95 for a domain at GD. I have learned my lesson now.

tranza 08-18-2007 12:52 PM

GoDaddy sucks, I'll never buy a domain from them again.

Every single week a domain get hijacked with them. I'm done with all horror stories.

jonesonyou 08-18-2007 12:55 PM

godaddy I have never had a problem with.

I don't know as if I buy this idea that GoDaddy is handing domains over to these criminals so easily. There has to be more to this. The domain owners had to of fucked up somewhere, and are leaving that bit out of their stories. That's the way it usually goes with GoDaddy complaints.

VicD 08-18-2007 05:04 PM

Oh shit, i just bought a domain about 1 hour ago for $16 and a little but thanks anyway :)

If you got 100+ domains you might wanna talk to dotster about getting that price down. I can't say what I'm paying at dotster due to non disclosure, but I can say they are at the same level as the rest if you bring volume.

:thumbsup

Maybe tranza can tell us what domain was hijacked last week?
Or the week before? Or the week before? Or the week before? Or the week before? I'd really like the list.

Horny Dude 08-18-2007 11:12 PM

No love for DirectNIC? I have all my domain names there!

4Pics 08-18-2007 11:29 PM

godaddy has a terrible interface if you want to edit multiple domains at once (unless I just don't know how to do it)

Adult Banner Exchange 08-18-2007 11:37 PM

I buy mine at www.redbusdomainnames.com

$6.95 all year round. Great service on the phone too.

eppoclappo 08-19-2007 03:34 AM

$6.95 per domain is still too high! :) See sig...

The $5.95 I pay per domain INCLUDES Private Registration (GoDaddy charges extra for that), plus they deliver domains on credit, meaning it takes about 14 days after your purchase till the cash is deducted from your c/c or paypal. Of course you still can instantly start using the domain. No waitin time there.

The $5.95 isn't a promotion. Neither is there a limit on the number of domains you can get for that rate. It's their standard every day 1-year-fee for a com/net/org/us/info/name domain.

They also offer hosting packages, but beware... they only allow adult sites that show erotic art, so putting up porn there is a no-no. To register porn related domain names isn't a problem at all.

isn't that the company that keeps rebilling customers long after they've canceled their account? :disgust
