Ever been mistaken for a celebrity?
 

I had something strange happen to me awhile back...my girlfriend and i picked up a room at the Golden Nugget to just kind of get away from the kids, chaos, etc. for a weekend and were hanging out by the pool...awhile later we went to eat and I was looking a little shady i guess....because someone actually thought I was Rob Zombie...I was like "fuck, I need to shave or get a haircut or something". I guess the reason might have been he was being interviewed on VH1 and wearing the same shirt I happened to be wearing that day...it was kind of strange...maybe it was the shades? who knows....

My real name is Tony Hawk. Every time I make a phone call and have to tell someone my name I pause and wait for the skater remark.

"No, not that one. It's just a coincidence."

Several different pro wrestlers. But usually on of the Sheep Herders.

My roommate is a high profile poker pro, and appears weekly on the World Poker Tour. She also has a published book, and appears in Cardplayer magazine, the magazine she used to own.

Her business partner was in the past also a Cardplayer writer and was the announcer on the Professional Poker Tour when it aired on the Travel Channel.

Anyway, we were coming out of the Cafe at Binion's one day after lunch, and this guy comes up to me and says..."aren't you a famous poker player?"

He doesn't even notice them...LOL I don't know who he could have mistaken me for...LOL.

I had someone insisting I was Leah Thompson all night and kept following me around.

I get the guy that plays Dr. Doom in Fantasic 4 and is on Dr. 90210

I get mistaken for Nick Carter here in Puerto Rico all the time. Even had a group of puerto rican teens come up to me and ask me if I was Nick Carter in their broken english.

No, but people think that me and my school years mate with who I drank about 100 000 gallons of beer during the wild years are brothers.

I was in a restaurant on the Redondo Beach pier a couple years ago when I noticed this chick staring at me.

Eventually her husband came up and said she was convinced I was Kris Kristofferson.

People frequently say I look like him or Sam Elliot, but she was almost star struck.

I've been told that I look like a young Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman) or Debbie Mazar.

Years ago in Reno I walked into a bar and the bartender freaks out "what are YOU doing here? I'm a huge fan!" I never asked him who the hell he thought I was because he was giving me free drinks and I didn't want to ruin it.
