Wow, Thunderbird changed quite a bit with this update

even stopped moving the junk mail automatically. I had to go in and reset it.

Thoughts on the new look/feel of it?

Heh, I'm pretty sure I'm behind the times on this update, as I haven't been at the computer a lot lately.
But the "options" menu seems quite different and there's new icons everywhere.

I figured if I am slow on the uptake, perhaps others have used it for a while and have an opinion on any new features or it's functionality.

I told it to wait to restart because I was in the middle of something. Sounds like it is going to be fun.

Iron Fist 08-17-2007 07:22 AM

Installed the new one, seems the same with some minor updates :)

gornyhuy 08-17-2007 07:29 AM

Hmmm...
I think I'm several days behind on the reboot. I should probably do that.

gornyhuy 08-17-2007 07:30 AM

Actually, its funny, the SECOND I closed this thread after my reply, the dialog came up to install the update. Guess I was thinking of some other reboot I'm behnind on.

Don't like the fact that the Read/Unread drop down menu has disappeared

tranza 08-17-2007 07:34 AM

I thought you were going to post pictures of a car in this thread....

True, no one spreads virus's, worms, trojans, etc quite like them :thumbsup

quantum-x 08-17-2007 08:17 AM

I put 2.0 on another pic and hated it. They changed so much that was decent about thunderbird. I'm not upgrading.

CaptainHowdy 08-17-2007 08:36 AM

I haven't updated for that reason...

Michaelious 08-17-2007 08:37 AM

That can be a bit annoying now and again

Elli 08-17-2007 09:08 AM

Yeah my junk filter hiccupped for a few days. But I didn't notice any other changes at all?
